Previous games of this type I have participated in

SOO has kept me physically active throughout my life. I have met new friends from different provinces.

Other games I have participated in

Volunteering is rewarding because it gives you a chance to get to know athletes and their abilities.
For athletes, I would share that SOO supports people of all abilities - they can do any sport within their ability.

My goals for the games

To medal in my 200 metre butterfly, and to hopefully be in a relay.
To meet to new friends across Canada.

My personal best result in my event

Winning five gold medals at the Waterloo Provincial games in 2024. It was the most medals I ever earned at a provincial game.

Awards or major accomplishments that I have received

It means sportsmanship, being a good teammate and role model to other athletes. To show athletes they can accomplish anything they want in their sport. High fiving athletes after their race no matter what they place. Doing team building exercises, having fun marching in during opening ceremonies as a team and seeing people in the stands cheering us on.

My personal role model

Trusting in my swim training and dry line training.
Visualization when I am behind the diving block - I close my eyes for ten seconds to visualize my race.
